How to Top Up Your Wallet

Overview

Your AFRICLOUD wallet is a prepaid balance used to pay for hourly resources and invoices. You can top up with a card or digital wallet, PayPal, cryptocurrency, mobile money or a local African payment rail, depending on your country.

Step-by-Step

  1. Log in to your AFRICLOUD Dashboard
  2. Go to Billing in the sidebar
  3. Click Top Up
  4. Enter the amount you want to add
  5. Choose your payment method:

Card & Bank (via Stripe)

Select Card & Bank and click Continue. Stripe will show the payment methods available in your country, including:

  • Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
  • Local methods such as PIX (Brazil), iDEAL (Netherlands), Bancontact (Belgium), EPS (Austria), Bizum (Spain), Multibanco and MB WAY (Portugal)
  • Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link

Where a local method uses another currency, the amount is converted at checkout. You pay in that currency and your wallet is credited in your billing currency.

PayPal

Select PayPal and click Continue. You will be redirected to PayPal to authorise the payment. Once complete, you are returned to the dashboard and your wallet is credited.

Cryptocurrency

Select Crypto and click Continue. You will be shown a payment page with supported coins (BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC and over 300 more). Send the exact amount shown to the provided wallet address. Your wallet is credited once the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain.

Mobile money

If you are in one of our mobile money countries, select Mobile Money, choose the country you are paying from, and approve the prompt on your phone. The amount is converted to your local currency and your wallet is credited when the payment confirms.

Local payment rails

In Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa and other supported countries, select the local option to pay by card, bank transfer, virtual account, USSD or mobile money as available where you are. The processing fee is shown on top of the amount before you confirm.

Notes

  • Minimum top-up amounts vary by currency
  • Your wallet balance pays an invoice automatically on its due date if it covers the total
  • If you have a saved card, invoices can be charged automatically
