Can I run MikroTik CHR on AFRICLOUD?
Not on a new server at the moment: new CHR setups are paused. Every Cloud Server plan runs on KVM and is compatible with MikroTik Cloud Hosted Router, so register your interest and we will tell you when setups return. There is no image upload in the dashboard.
Do I need a MikroTik licence?
CHR includes a free tier limited to 1 Mbit/s per interface, sufficient for testing and certification study but not for production throughput. For real use you need a P1 ($45), P10 ($95) or P-Unlimited ($250) licence purchased directly from MikroTik. These are perpetual licences, a single payment rather than a yearly one.
