App Templates

Overview
App templates let you deploy servers with pre-installed software stacks. Instead of starting from a bare OS, choose a template with your application already configured.
Available Templates
AFRICLOUD offers templates for popular applications including web servers, databases, and development environments. Templates are available across all supported operating systems.
How to Deploy
- Go to Compute and click Deploy Server
- In the OS selection step, switch to the App Templates tab
- Choose your desired application
- Select your plan, location, and other options
- Click Deploy
The server is provisioned with the application pre-installed and configured. Login credentials are provided in the server detail page.
Operating Systems
We support 10 Linux distributions:
- Ubuntu 24.04 and 22.04
- Debian 12
- AlmaLinux 8, 9, and 10
- Rocky Linux 8, 9, and 10
- Fedora 42
All templates come with the QEMU guest agent pre-installed for reliable monitoring and password management.
