Payment Methods & Currencies

Overview

AFRICLOUD accepts cards, PayPal, cryptocurrency, mobile money and local African payment rails, so you can pay from almost anywhere. The methods you see at checkout depend on your country and billing currency.

Cards and wallets

Visa, Mastercard, American Express and other major cards, plus Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link, processed by Stripe. Where Stripe supports it in your country you may also see local options such as iDEAL, Bancontact, EPS, Bizum, Multibanco, MB WAY, Pix and Cash App Pay.

Mobile money

Available in Benin, Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Gabon, Kenya, the Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Uganda and Zambia, through the mobile money providers in each country (MTN MoMo, Orange Money, Airtel Money, M-Pesa, Moov, Free Money, Vodacom and Zamtel where they operate). Your invoice is converted to your local currency at checkout and you pay the exact amount shown.

Local rails for Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa and more

In Nigeria you can pay by card, bank transfer, virtual account or USSD. In Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and South Africa you can use local cards, bank transfer and mobile money, and in the West and Central African franc countries the local rails available there. The processing fee for these rails is shown on top of your invoice amount before you confirm.

PayPal

Pay from your PayPal balance, bank account or card for new orders and wallet top-ups. PayPal payments are one-time on AFRICLOUD; to renew automatically, save a card or keep a wallet balance. See How to Pay with PayPal.

Billing currencies

Your billing currency is set from your country when you register and does not change: USD for most countries, EUR for Europe, GBP for the United Kingdom, ZAR for South Africa and its neighbours, NGN for Nigeria. Mobile money and local rails charge you in your local currency at the rate shown at checkout.

Wallet

Your wallet is a prepaid balance in your billing currency. Top it up with any method above and it pays new orders, invoices and hourly usage automatically. You can also prepay your next renewal at checkout. The prepaid amount is the full renewal price, including the automated-backups charge if backups are enabled.
